Should you buy the TCL C755?

What is DLG 240 Hz?
Dual Line Gate halves the vertical resolution to double the refresh rate, so the panel reaches 240 Hz at half the lines. The panel's own rate is 144 Hz, and that is the figure filed here as refresh rate.
How does it compare with the C855?
The C855 of 2024 states 1,344 dimming zones, 3,300 nits peak and a 2.1.2 array with a subwoofer; the C755 states 1,200 nits and a plain 2.0 pair. Both carry Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced on a 144 Hz panel.
