When you create an account we collect your email address, display name, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text) and, optionally, your country. When you post a review as a guest, only the name and country you enter are saved — no account is created. Reviews, questions, answers and votes you post on the site are also recorded.
We use this information to show your review under your name and country, to calculate your contribution points and badge, to let you sign in, and to protect the community against fake content and abuse. We do not use your data for ad targeting.
Your display name, country, the text of your reviews, questions and answers, and your points and badges are visible to everyone on the site. Your email address and password are never published or shared with other users.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data through our contact page.
