Should you buy the TCL C9K?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the TCL C9K: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
How loud is the B&O system?
TCL does not say. The sheet names the sound system — B&O Audio System — and publishes no wattage and no channel count for this family in any of the three markets Kacbu read. The name is the whole claim, so it is the whole claim this page carries.
What does 144Hz (VRR 48~288Hz/DLG 288Hz) mean?
The panel is 144 Hz. Variable refresh accepts anything from 48 Hz upward, and 288 Hz is reached by DLG, which halves the vertical resolution to double the rate. Kacbu files 144 as the refresh rate and the 288 separately, with the technique named.
C9K or C8K?
Both are QD-Mini LED at 144 Hz. The C9K states 5,800 nits peak, 97% of DCI-P3 and the B&O system; the C8K states 4,500 nits and a conventional array. The C8K is sold in more markets, including Türkiye.
