Should you buy the TCL A400 Pro?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the TCL A400 Pro: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Is the 32-inch 4K?
No. TCL states 1,920 × 1,080 for the 32-inch and 3,840 × 2,160 for every size from 43 inches up. The size table on this page carries each panel's own resolution.
What does HLG alone mean in practice?
HLG is the HDR format broadcasters use, so live HDR television works. Streaming services mostly deliver HDR10, HDR10+ or Dolby Vision, and TCL answers no to all three here — those streams will fall back to standard dynamic range.
What is the next step up?
