Should you buy the Samsung OLED S99H?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Samsung OLED S99H: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
What is Glare Free?
It is the name Samsung's German sheet gives this screen's anti-reflection treatment, where the S85H and S90F sheets simply answer yes to an anti-reflection row. Same idea, a stronger word, and the only sheet in this catalogue that uses it.
Is it a 165 Hz panel?
No. Samsung prints '165 Hz VRR (100 Hz nativ)': the panel is 100 Hz and 165 Hz is what it accepts. Motion Xcelerator 165 Hz is the processing name for the same ceiling.
S99H or S95H?
Both are 2026 OLEDs on the same 165 Hz ceiling. The S99H states a 4.2.2 array at 70 W and a Glare Free screen; check the S95H's own page for its sizes and its own rows, because the two differ market by market.
