Should you buy the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990H?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990H: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Why does Samsung's page call it an R95H?
Because the title on Samsung's UK page is wrong. The address ends qn990h-85-inch-neo-qled-8k-mini-led-smart-tv-qe85qn990htxxu, the model code is QE85QN990HTXXU, and every row on the page describes an 8K Neo QLED: 7,680 × 4,320, Neo Quantum HDR 8K Pro, 8K AI Upscaling Pro. The title alone says "R95H 85 inch 4K Micro RGB". Kacbu reads the rows.
QN990H or QN990F?
The QN990H is the 2026 model: a Glare Free screen and a 100 Hz panel reaching 4K at 240 Hz. The QN990F of 2025 carries the same five HDMI inputs, the same wireless One Connect and the same 6.2.4 array at 90 W.
Is the One Connect box wireless?
Yes. Samsung names the part Wireless One Connect (Y25 8K), the same one the QN990F uses: the inputs and the power sit in a separate box that reaches the screen without a video cable.
