Should you buy the Hisense ULED U7SE?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Hisense ULED U7SE: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Which HDMI input should a console use?
The fourth, and only the fourth. Hisense states variable refresh at 144 Hz for HDMI 4 and lists the first three as auto low latency mode only, so a console on HDMI 1 loses variable refresh entirely.
Is 4 ms of input lag believable?
It is what Hisense publishes, measured with a 4K 120 Hz input, and it is the lowest figure any maker states in this catalogue. Kacbu records the maker's number and the signal it was measured with, rather than a number of its own.
Is it a Mini LED television?
No. ULED is Hisense's name for its picture processing; the backlight row states DLED, which is a direct-lit LED array behind the panel.
