FAQ

The most common questions about this product

What the numbers on the spec sheet actually mean in day-to-day use.

Should you buy the Hisense A7Q?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Hisense A7Q: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
What does the subwoofer add?
Weight the panel's own drivers cannot make. Hisense writes the amplifier as 2 x 10 W plus 20 W, so half the power goes to the low end alone. Below the ULED line that is rare — most sets at this height answer the sound row with a plain pair.
Is it a gaming television?
Within its panel. All three inputs are HDMI 2.1 with auto low latency mode and variable refresh to 60 Hz, and Hisense states an input lag of 10 ms. What it cannot do is show 120 frames a second, because the panel is 60 Hz.
How does it differ from the A6Q?
Colour and sound. This one answers yes to quantum dot and carries the 2.1 array with Dolby Atmos; the A6Q answers no to quantum dot and states 2 x 15 W with DTS Virtual X. Both are 60 Hz at 3800:1 without local dimming.
