4 Phones models on Kacbu ship with Dual Pixel PDAF Camera Features, from Nothing, POCO, Samsung. Compare their specifications side by side and see what sets them apart. The newest of them arrived in 2026.
PDAF (Phase-Detection Autofocus) is a focusing method built on dedicated focus pixels on the sensor: pairs of pixels look at the same scene from two slightly different angles, which lets the camera compute how far and in which direction to shift focus in one step. The old contrast-based hunting back and forth is not needed.
For the user it means speed: because focus is computed rather than found by trial and error, shutter lag shrinks, moving subjects β children, pets, sport β get caught instead of missed, and while filming, focus glides rather than jumps when the scene changes.
Dual Pixel is the densest form of the method: every pixel on the sensor is split into two photodiodes, so focus information comes from the whole sensor rather than from scattered points. Focusing stays consistent even in the dark and on low-contrast surfaces.
