Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy S25?
The Kacbu decision box currently says WAIT for the Samsung Galaxy S25: either the model has been on the market long enough that a successor may be near, or owner data is weak. The reasons are in the decision box at the top of this page.
S25 or S26?
The S26 succeeded it in March 2026 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a slightly larger battery. The S25 keeps the same camera set, the same seven-update promise and the same size, and now sells for less. If you are not chasing peak performance, the older model is the better value.
Is 4,000 mAh enough?
For moderate use, yes — the LTPO panel and the efficient 3nm chip stretch it further than the number suggests. Heavy camera or gaming days will need a charge by evening, and at 25W refilling is slower than on most rivals.
How real is the 3x telephoto?
It is a dedicated 10 MP periscope-free telephoto with OIS, not a crop. At this size class most rivals either omit a telephoto entirely or fake it by cropping the main sensor, so it is one of the strongest arguments for this phone.
