Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy S25+?
The Kacbu decision box currently says WAIT for the Samsung Galaxy S25+: either the model has been on the market long enough that a successor may be near, or owner data is weak. The reasons are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Where is the Galaxy S25+ still sold?
Samsung's own catalogues list it in Germany and Brazil. The British and Turkish sites no longer carry it, having moved to the S25 FE and the S26 line, so the model code you can buy is the European SM-S936B or the Brazilian one.
What does the S25 Ultra add over this?
The S Pen, a 200-megapixel main camera and a second telephoto lens. The screen size and the 120 Hz refresh rate are close enough that the camera is the real difference.
How long will it get updates?
Samsung's own sheet promises security updates until 2032. That is the horizon the maker states; the operating-system upgrade count is a separate promise Samsung publishes per series.
