Should you buy the Redmi K90 Ultra?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Redmi K90 Ultra: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Can I buy the Redmi K90 Ultra outside China?
Not officially — like the previous K80 Ultra, Xiaomi has kept this model China-exclusive with no announced India or global rollout. You'd need to import a unit through a third party, and features like NFC payment support may not work the same way outside China.
Why does it have a built-in fan? Won't that make it bulky?
The 18.1mm active cooling fan is built into the phone's body specifically to sustain performance during long gaming sessions without the throttling other flagships experience. It does add some thickness and weight (227g) compared to fan-less phones, but it's a deliberate trade-off for gaming endurance.
Is the lack of a telephoto camera a big downside?
If zoom photography matters to you, yes — this phone has no telephoto lens at all, just a main camera and a basic ultrawide. It's clearly positioned as a performance/battery phone first, camera system second, unlike most other phones in this comparison.
