Is 144 Hz meaningful on a phone this cheap?
For scrolling and menus, yes — the motion is visibly smoother than on a 60 Hz budget phone. For gaming it matters less, because the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 cannot render demanding titles anywhere near 144 fps. Treat it as a smoothness feature, not a gaming one.
How long does a 7,000 mAh battery actually last?
EU energy labelling puts it at 67 hours of endurance, which in practice means two full days for most people and three for light users. The trade-off is weight and charging time: 217 grams, and well over an hour to refill at 33W.
What does an 'enhanced Snapdragon 695' mean?
Qualcomm has acknowledged the 6s Gen 3 is a reworked version of the Snapdragon 695 from 2021, not a new design. It is adequate for messaging, video and light apps, but it is old silicon — if performance matters, a Redmi Note model is the meaningful step up.
