Should you buy the POCO F8 Pro?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the POCO F8 Pro: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
POCO F8 Pro or F8 Ultra?
The Ultra adds a proper 5x periscope telephoto, a brighter 6.9-inch display, wireless charging and a larger battery, for a real step up in price. If a cropped 2.5x zoom is enough for how you shoot and you don't need wireless charging, the F8 Pro delivers the same core Snapdragon 8 Elite performance for meaningfully less.
Is the 8MP ultrawide a real downgrade?
In good light it's serviceable for group shots and landscapes, but detail clearly trails the 50MP ultrawides on the F8 Ultra and most rivals — it's the one camera where the price cut shows most obviously.
Is missing wireless charging a big deal?
For most people, no — 100W wired charging refills the battery faster than most wireless pads could anyway. It matters mainly if you specifically rely on a wireless charging stand at your desk or bedside.
