Main risks
  • One-Handed Use
  • No wireless charging, unlike the pricier F8 Ultra.
  • 8MP ultrawide is noticeably behind the 50MP sensors most 2025-2026 flagships use for that lens.
  • 2.5x zoom is a cropped tele rather than the F8 Ultra's dedicated 5x periscope.
The risk level is computed from the release date and verified weaknesses. The confidence score appears only once enough owner reports exist.

Editorial Analysis

Strengths and points to consider

The Kacbu editors' assessment of the specifications the maker publishes. We do not test devices ourselves, so nothing here is a measured result. Anything taken from an independent review is shown with its publication and date in the Press section.

Strengths based on the specs
Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chipset at a €649.90 list price on Xiaomi's German store.
6210mAh battery with 100W wired charging refills fully in well under 40 minutes.
3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling keeps sustained gaming performance close to bulkier flagships.
Bose-tuned stereo speakers are a genuine step up from typical mid-price phone audio.
IP68 rating and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint at a price many rivals reserve for cheaper components.
Things to consider
No wireless charging, unlike the pricier F8 Ultra.
8MP ultrawide is noticeably behind the 50MP sensors most 2025-2026 flagships use for that lens.
2.5x zoom is a cropped tele rather than the F8 Ultra's dedicated 5x periscope.
HyperOS still carries more preloaded software than closer-to-stock Android rivals.

FAQ

The most common questions about this product

What the numbers on the spec sheet actually mean in day-to-day use.

POCO F8 Pro or F8 Ultra?
The Ultra adds a proper 5x periscope telephoto, a brighter 6.9-inch display, wireless charging and a larger battery, for a real step up in price. If a cropped 2.5x zoom is enough for how you shoot and you don't need wireless charging, the F8 Pro delivers the same core Snapdragon 8 Elite performance for meaningfully less.
Is the 8MP ultrawide a real downgrade?
In good light it's serviceable for group shots and landscapes, but detail clearly trails the 50MP ultrawides on the F8 Ultra and most rivals — it's the one camera where the price cut shows most obviously.
Is missing wireless charging a big deal?
For most people, no — 100W wired charging refills the battery faster than most wireless pads could anyway. It matters mainly if you specifically rely on a wireless charging stand at your desk or bedside.
