Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A16?
The Kacbu decision box currently says WAIT for the Samsung Galaxy A16: either the model has been on the market long enough that a successor may be near, or owner data is weak. The reasons are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Where is the Galaxy A16 sold?
Of the markets Kacbu reads, Spain lists it. The A17 replaced it in Britain, France, Italy, Türkiye and Brazil, which is why those catalogues show the newer model instead.
How is it different from the A17?
The A17 adds optical stabilisation to the main camera and NFC, and is 10 grams lighter. Screen, battery and memory are the same.
Does it support 5G?
No. This is the 4G model; Samsung sells 5G in the A17 5G, the A26 5G and above.
