CONSIDER
  • No real owner data yet β€” the verdict stays cautious
Great choice if these matter:
  • Gaming
  • Content Creation
  • Work / Productivity
Watch out for:
  • The 6000 MT/s rating needs EXPO or XMP enabled in BIOS β€” it boots at 4800 MT/s until you do.
  • 1.40 V is above the 1.1 V DDR5 default, so it runs warmer than a stock kit.

  • 1.40 V is above the 1.1 V DDR5 default, so it runs warmer than a stock kit.
  • Tall heatspreaders can foul large air coolers.

Official Statement

What does Corsair say about the product?

A summary of Corsair's official product description.

Official Corsair source

Corsair positions this kit around hand-sorted memory chips and dual EXPO/XMP profiles, rated up to 6000 MT/s at CL30.

Corsair lists the kit at 6000 MT/s with 30-36-36-76 timings at 1.40 V, falling back to an SPD default of 4800 MT/s at 1.1 V until a profile is enabled. It ships with both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles, a solid aluminium heatspreader over a custom performance PCB, onboard voltage regulation, and ten individually addressable RGB LEDs per module. Corsair notes that reaching the rated speed requires BIOS adjustment and depends on the rest of the system.

Editorial Analysis

Strengths and points to consider

Compiled by the Kacbu editorial team from spec sheets, independent press reviews and reported user feedback.

Strengths based on the specs
6000 MT/s at CL30 is the sweet spot for AMD AM5, where the memory controller runs 1:1 at DDR5-6000.
Carries both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles, so one kit suits either platform.
Hand-sorted memory chips and a custom PCB aimed at holding the rated timings.
Ten addressable RGB LEDs per module, controllable through iCUE.
Solid aluminium heatspreader.
2x16GB leaves the other two DIMM slots free for a later upgrade.
Things to consider
The 6000 MT/s rating needs EXPO or XMP enabled in BIOS β€” it boots at 4800 MT/s until you do.
1.40 V is above the 1.1 V DDR5 default, so it runs warmer than a stock kit.
Tall heatspreaders can foul large air coolers.
RGB control depends on Corsair's iCUE software.
Four-DIMM DDR5 configurations often will not hold 6000 MT/s, so filling all slots later may mean dropping speed.

Official launch details

Instead of tracking today's retail price, Kacbu keeps the product's official launch information as a reference.

Corsair is headquartered in the US and designs the kit there. The memory chips come from third-party manufacturers, while module assembly happens mostly in Taiwan; this can vary by batch.

This is not the current retail price β€” it shows the product's historical, official launch information.

FAQ

The most common questions about this product

What the numbers on the spec sheet actually mean in day-to-day use.

Should you buy the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 32GB?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 32GB: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
Why is DDR5-6000 CL30 recommended so often for AMD?
On AM5, the memory controller and the RAM run in step at DDR5-6000. Push past it and the controller usually drops to a half-rate mode, which costs more in latency than the extra frequency gains. CL30 is the tightest common timing at that speed, so the pairing lands where the platform is happiest.
Will it run at 6000 MT/s out of the box?
No. DDR5 boots at its JEDEC default β€” 4800 MT/s at 1.1 V here β€” until you enable the EXPO or XMP profile in BIOS. That is a single setting, not manual tuning, but skipping it means paying for speed you never switch on.
Is 32 GB enough?
For gaming and ordinary desktop work, comfortably. Video editing, large virtual machines, or running local AI models are where 64 GB starts to matter. Since this is a 2x16GB kit, two slots stay free β€” though adding a second kit later often means settling for a lower speed.
Does it fit under a large air cooler?
The RGB light bar makes these taller than plain modules, and big tower coolers frequently overhang the first DIMM slot. Check your cooler's stated RAM clearance against the module height before buying, or plan on shifting the fan upward.
Do I need the iCUE software?
Only for the lighting. The memory runs at its rated speed from the BIOS profile with nothing installed. iCUE is what lets you change the RGB patterns and colours; many motherboards can also drive the lighting through their own software.
