Should you buy the Xiaomi 17T?

17T or 17T Pro — is the €150 gap worth it?
The Pro buys flagship silicon, 8K and 4K 120 video, wireless charging, a 144Hz panel and 500 mAh more battery. If you game seriously or shoot a lot of video, yes. For everyone else the 17T keeps the cameras that matter and the battery that matters.
Is the same 115mm periscope really on both phones?
Both carry a 50 MP 115mm Leica periscope with OIS. The Pro pairs it with the newer Light Fusion 950 main sensor against the 17T's Light Fusion 800 — the tele reach is identical, the main camera is a half-step apart.
How does the Dimensity 8500-Ultra hold up?
It is a 4nm chip positioned under the flagship 9500: everyday use, streaming and moderate gaming run without complaint. The gap shows in export-heavy camera work and long high-settings gaming sessions.
No wireless charging — how much does it hurt?
It is the clearest cut from the Pro. With 67W wired filling the 6,500 mAh cell quickly, most owners will not miss it day to day, but if a wireless pad is part of your desk or car setup, the Pro is the one.
