Should you buy the Xiaomi 15T?
The Kacbu decision box currently says CONSIDER for the Xiaomi 15T: the specs hold up, but there are not yet enough real owner reports to strengthen the call. Pros, cautions and alternatives are in the decision box at the top of this page.
15T or 17T?
The 17T brings a 115mm periscope, a 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon cell and a newer chip at €749 launch. The 15T counters with its discount and a shorter 46mm tele. If zoom reach matters, the 17T earns its price; for portraits and daily use the 15T at street price is the value pick.
What is a 46mm telephoto good for?
It is a portrait lens: natural compression for people shots without the distortion of shooting close with a wide lens. It will not reach a stage or a pitch — that is what the Pro models' 115mm exists for.
Is battery life really that good?
5,500 mAh against an efficient 4nm chip and FHD+ panel is among the best endurance in its class — a heavy day with margin, or two lighter ones. Charging at 67W refills it in under an hour.
How does it compare with the Galaxy A57?
Same price class, different bets: the A57 offers six years of updates and a thinner body; the 15T offers a faster chip, a brighter panel, a real telephoto and quicker charging. Longevity buyers lean A57; camera and speed buyers lean 15T.
