Phones with Ultra HDR: 3 models

What is it?

What is Ultra HDR and what does it do?

Ultra HDR is Android's high-dynamic-range photo format: it adds a brightness map inside an ordinary JPEG, so on an HDR-capable display the photo shows with brighter highlights, and on a display without it opens as a normal JPEG. Listed as a display feature, it says the phone's screen can show such photos that way.

It is not a video standard; HDR10 and Dolby Vision are written in separate rows. The bright rendering also needs the app to support the format; it works in the gallery and camera apps, not in every third-party app.
