Phones with Glyph Matrix

The Glyph Matrix is a dot-matrix light display set into the back of the phone: it shows notifications, charge state and timers without turning the phone over.

Its link to the camera shows when taking a selfie with the rear camera: because the matrix shows the framing and the countdown on the back, you can see what you are shooting while photographing yourself with the phone's best camera. It can also serve as a low-level fill light.
