Is the 200 MP camera actually better than a 50 MP one?

Not automatically. The sensor bins 200 MP down to roughly 12.5 MP for everyday shots, and the 1/1.4-inch size helps in low light, but reviewers place its output at solid-midrange level rather than near flagships. The bigger practical gap is what is missing: there is no telephoto, so zoom beyond 2x is a crop.

How long does the 6,500 mAh battery last?

GSMArena's active-use test returned 16 hours and 4 minutes, which puts it among the longest-lasting phones in its class. Combined with 100W charging — about 40 minutes for a full charge — battery anxiety is essentially designed out of this phone.

What does IP69K add over IP68?

IP68 covers immersion; IP69K adds resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. In daily life it means the phone tolerates being rinsed under a running tap. Xiaomi also rates the body for 2.5 m drops, which matters more often than either water rating.

Should I buy this or wait for a price drop?

Its predecessor fell substantially within months of launch, and reviewers expect the same here — the value case gets much stronger below €400.
