CONSIDER
    Great choice if these matter:
    • Work / Productivity
    • Battery Life
    • Daily Use
    Watch out for:
    • 300-nit, 60Hz IPS display is the clear cost-saving: usable indoors, dim outdoors, and no high refresh.
    • Memory is soldered — the configuration you buy is permanent.
    Launch price $1,449.99 (US)

    Main risks
    • 300-nit, 60Hz IPS display is the clear cost-saving: usable indoors, dim outdoors, and no high refresh.
    • Memory is soldered — the configuration you buy is permanent.
    • No HDMI and no card reader: dongles are part of the purchase.
    • A single M.2 slot means storage upgrades are replacements, not additions.
The risk level is computed from the release date and verified weaknesses. The confidence score appears only once enough owner reports exist.

    Editorial Analysis

    Strengths and points to consider

The Kacbu editors' assessment of the specifications the maker publishes. We do not test devices ourselves, so nothing here is a measured result. Anything taken from an independent review is shown with its publication and date in the Press section.

    Strengths based on the specs
The 50 TOPS NPU clears the Copilot+ bar with headroom — on-device AI features run here, not in the cloud.
Radeon 890M is the strongest integrated graphics in a Windows ultrabook: light gaming without a discrete GPU.
HP rates 21 hours of video from the 68Wh cell — the HX 370's 28W envelope doing exactly what it was designed for.
9MP webcam with IR and Poly software is a genuine step above the 1080p class standard.
Two USB4 ports at 40 Gbps drive external displays and fast storage despite the thin body.
    Things to consider
300-nit, 60Hz IPS display is the clear cost-saving: usable indoors, dim outdoors, and no high refresh.
Memory is soldered — the configuration you buy is permanent.
No HDMI and no card reader: dongles are part of the purchase.
A single M.2 slot means storage upgrades are replacements, not additions.

    FAQ

The most common questions about this product

What the numbers on the spec sheet actually mean in day-to-day use.

Same CPU as the Razer Blade 16 — how is this a different machine?
This is the other face of the configurable-TDP story. The Blade runs the HX 370 alongside a 160W discrete GPU in a gaming chassis; the OmniBook runs the same silicon at its efficient 28W point with no discrete GPU at all, and converts the savings into HP's rated 21-hour battery life at 1.57 kg. Same chip, opposite priorities.
Can it actually game on integrated graphics?
Lighter and older titles, genuinely — the Radeon 890M is the best integrated GPU in a Windows thin-and-light. Current AAA games need reduced settings and resolutions. If gaming is a priority rather than a bonus, a machine with a discrete GPU is the right tool.
What does Copilot+ actually give me here?
The NPU runs Windows AI features on the device: live translation and captions, studio camera effects, image generation and Recall. Below Microsoft's 40 TOPS bar those features simply do not activate — this chip's 50 TOPS is why this machine qualifies.
