RTX 5070 Ti Laptop or RTX 5080 Laptop GPU?
The 5080 version adds around 30% more CUDA cores, 4GB more memory and a wider memory bus, and can run to 150W against this chip's 115W ceiling. If you game at 1440p high refresh, the step up is worth it; at 1080p or for mixed use, the 5070 Ti at full power covers it for meaningfully less money.
Is 12GB enough for modern games?
At 1080p and 1440p, yes — current titles rarely exceed it at those resolutions with DLSS enabled. It is the specification most likely to become limiting first in this class, but it is a genuine improvement over the 8GB the standard RTX 5070 Laptop GPU ships with.
How much does the 60W version give up?
